NCFlex 2022 Open Enrollment Important News for 2022: Enroll or my changes October 11th - 29th Health Care FSA unused funds will roll over from 2021 to 2022 If you participated in the Health Care FSA in 2020 or are currently participating for 2021 and you have a minimum balance of $25, your full amount of unused funds will automatically roll over for the 2022 plan year. You can use these funds even if you do not re-enroll in the Health Care FSA for 2022. This temporary unlimited rollover is allowed by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you do re-enroll, you can elect to contribute up to $2,750 to your account in 2022. Note that going forward, starting with the 2023 plan year, the normal annual rollover amount of $550 will apply. To view your FSA account, go to ncflex.padmin.com. No rate increases for most benefits Current rates for all NCFlex benefits except for the Dental plans will stay the same for the 2022 plan year. You can view NCFlex rates for all benefit plans in the NCFlex 2022 Benefits Guide below. Dental rates for the Low and Classic options will return to 2020 rates; rates for the High option will increase. Be sure to review the Dental options in the NCFlex 2022 Benefits Guide to choose coverage that best fits your family. No waiting period will apply if you switch dental options for 2022. Do you have to enroll? It’s always a good idea to review your options so you can make good benefit choices for the upcoming year. However, if you do not make changes by Oct. 29, your current elections will roll over (at 2022 rates)—except for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). You must re-enroll in the Health Care and/or Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) each year to make contributions in the upcoming plan year. If you do not re-enroll, your current contributions end on Dec. 31, 2021. When is Evidence of Insurability (medical questions) required?
