General Statement

State employees who believe that they have been discriminated against or retaliated against for filing a discrimination complaint can file with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Employees may also file discrimination complaints with the NC Office of Administrative Hearings, Civil Rights Division.

NC Office of Administrative Hearings, Civil Rights Division

Discrimination complaints can also be filed with the Civil Rights Division (CRD) of the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings. The Civil Rights Division is a deferral agency for EEOC.
