State of North Carolina Recruiters to Participate in National Virtual Career Fair for Individuals with Disabilities Attention: Business/Jobs Desks, Community News and Calendars

Participants of the Virtual Career Fair for Individuals with Disabilities (9am-6pm April 13) will have the opportunity to talk with State of North Carolina job recruiters about opportunities across state government.

What:   Virtual Career Fair for Individuals with Disabilities

As an Employment First State for individuals with disabilities, the State of North Carolina is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming workspace for individuals with disabilities. State agencies and universities will be represented at this virtual job fair to recruit applicants interested in public service careers for competitive opportunities at agencies and locations across North Carolina.

Opportunities are available for every level of candidate, from experienced professionals to recent college graduates and college students with disabilities, to meet online with state agency recruiters. Participants are encouraged to create an online profile in NEOGOV, the state jobs portal, at https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/northcarolina.

When: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022

Why:    This third annual outreach is part of Governor Roy Cooper’s Employment First initiative, which seeks to
             provide competitive, integrated employment for individuals with disabilities.
Executive Order 92:
            Employment First for North Carolinians with Disabilities
 marked its third anniversary on March 28.
