The Performance Management Policy for North Carolina State Government outlines a performance management system which evaluates employees’ accomplishments and behaviors related to goals and organizational values to achieve organizational mission, goals, and business objectives. An integrated performance management system enables employees to develop and enhance individual performance while contributing to the achievement of organizational mission, goals, and business objectives. Each agency shall implement the Performance Management Policy as approved by the State Human Resources Commission.
