Horizontal Transfer

The Horizontal Transfer Policy outlines salary rate administration, special salary provisions, benefits, qualifications and the handling of a break in service, overlap of leave and reemployment in the event an employee moves from one position to another within the same agency or between agencies when there is no break in service and the positions have the same salary grade or in the same career-banded class.
