Wesley Davis

As Governmental Affairs and Strategic Initiatives Officer, Wesley leads OSHR’s legislative priorities, key agency initiatives, and external relationships, while also managing the State HR Commission. Additionally,  Wesley stewards the daily operations of the Director’s Office including scheduling, access, stakeholder engagement, and strategic alignment.

As a native of Gaston County, Wesley is passionate about working at the intersection of state government, public policy, and politics, to improve the lives of North Carolinians. He has previously held a variety of roles in political campaigns across the state and as a staffer in the N.C. General Assembly.  

Wesley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Appalachian State University and lives in Raleigh.
