This policy assists agency and university employers, current employees, and applicants for employment in requesting and processing reasonable accommodation requests. The overall intent of this policy is to ensure that the State of North Carolina fully complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and maintains equal opportunity in employment for all qualified persons with disabilities. This policy also prohibits retaliation against employees.
