General Timekeeping Information
Temporary Solutions offers several timekeeping services to meet the specific needs of our State Agency partners.
Paper Timesheets
Some State Agencies require their temporaries to record their time on Temporary Solutions paper timesheets. Our team of timekeepers receives, reviews, tracks and enters time recorded on paper timesheets directly into the Integrated HR-Payroll System (IHRPS). The time is automatically approved in IHRPS so no additional action is needed by the temporary’s supervisor. Paper timesheets must be entirely filled out and signed by the employee and supervisor. Generally, completed paper timesheets are due the Monday after the last day of each bi-weekly pay period.
For more information, including a copy of a blank paper timesheet, please visit our Paper Timesheets page.
Time Entry Review and Notifications
Temporaries who are assigned an NCID by their agency may enter their time directly into IHRPS via Employee Self-Service (ESS) in Fiori. Please note that Temporary Solutions does not assign NCIDs to temporary employees employed through TS because doing so affects an agency’s ability to issue the temporary a state email address.
During the second week of each bi-weekly pay period, Temporary Solutions reviews time entered directly into ESS by temporaries employed through Temporary Solutions. We check for time that has been entered but not released or approved and notify the employing work unit that additional action by the employee, supervisor, or agency time administrator is needed before payroll finalization.
