How It Works
How It Works
The recruitment process starts when an agency identifies a need. For Temporary Solutions, our Recruitment section kick off our process. This is the step where we join forces to bridge the gap between the need and quality talent. Our recruitment team is able to provide market data once the need has been identified to ensure that you are advertising your position to the most qualified individuals to increase the talent pool for your need. Additionally, we are available to pull data and metrics to share to ensure that you identify the most appropriate qualification as well as identify pay rates that are competitive.
Whether you have identified a candidate for a vacancy within your agency or not there is always something that Temporary Solutions recruitment team can assist you with. When JOs are submitted without a candidate, guess what? Our recruitment team is notified and that is where the fun begins. While the Job Order (JOs) is a requirement for our process it is not required to start your recruitment process with Temporary Solutions. Our recruitment team is available to discuss your need prior to the JO submission and supply you with a qualified candidate pool for consideration. If you need assistance in completing the JO, let us know and we will walk you through the process.
Upon review of the JO, our recruiters will contact the agency to discuss the need in further detail. Our recruiters will work extensively to mine applications and resumes that we receive daily to provide the agency with a fresh batch of highly qualified applicants to review. This is all done prior to posting the position on the state’s career page. Remember our recruitment team is always networking with job seekers and in many cases, they possess the education and/or experience that is needed for many of our temporary positions throughout the state. If it is determined that we do not have a batch of qualified applicants that will suit your need we will post the position and advertise your position through other sources and networks to include social media, college boards, and partners such as NC Works.
Once the position closes our recruitment specialist will screen the position for you and send a qualified and nonqualified applicant pool within 2 business days of the position closing. We encourage consideration from both pools of applicants. Our initial screening is a minimum screening based on the KSAs provided. We encourage a second level screening at the agency level as the experts of the position but also consideration of individuals that do not meet every KSA or have all the experience as listed on the posting. Additionally, we encourage our agency customers to provide training for those that may not meet all the qualifications.
