Onsite Nutrition Counseling

The Office of State Human Resources' Worksite Wellness program offers onsite nutrition counseling services as of June 2024. Dietitian visits are covered at 100% for participants of the State Health Plan when an in-network provider is used. As a result, this onsite nutrition counseling is a convenient and affordable way for state employees to improve their health and reach their nutrition-related goals.

No need to make an appointment employees can stop by while nutrition counselors are on-site to receive a vitals check and weigh in on a body composition scale.  

Associated Costs

Dietitian services are 100% covered for participants of the State Health Plan when using an in-network provider. Clinician visits require your plan's standard primary care copay per visit. This copay is $25 for those with the 80/20 plan and $45 for those with the 70/30 plan. New patient lab panels are not covered. Those with NCFlex's Health Care Flexible Spending Account can use account funds to cover the cost of lab panels and clinician visit copays.
