The 2016 Wellness & Safety Expo connected thousands of state employees and retirees with community resources that promote a safe and healthy lifestyle.
The event took place today inside the Jim Graham Building at the N.C. State Fairgrounds.

The 2016 Wellness & Safety Expo provides state government employees and retirees with free health screenings, cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs, and opportunities to learn life-saving skills. The event takes place at the NC State Fairgrounds, on Wednesday, May 11th.
“Supporting veterans in their return to civilian life is important to us,” said Neal Alexander, the state's human resources director. “As they leave the military, we want to make sure they put their talents to use right here in our state.”
