- Avoid receiving reminder emails by attending without registering. Just click "Join" at the time of the webinar of your choice below.
Can't attend a webinar live? No problem. We post Wellness Webinar recordings in our "On-Demand" section within a few days of the event.
Need accommodation during a webinar? We offer closed captioning and additional accommodation during our Wellness Webinars for deaf and hard of hearing employees. Additionally, we offer a Spanish translation during these events. March 19, 2024: The Importance of Fiber
Do you know how much fiber you need? The Institute of Medicine estimates that only five percent of Americans meet the daily requirement for fiber. Fiber can help regulate blood sugar, control cholesterol and hunger and promote bowel regularity. So why aren't we eating enough of this important nutrient? Kate Godin, RD, LDN from LifeStyle Medical Centers will share the many reasons we need fiber and simple ways we can consume more in our diets. After a brief presentation, she will demonstrate how to make two fiber-rich breakfast dishes – Overnight Oats and Chia Seed Pudding.
