Supervisors are encouraged to read the Workers' Compensation Supervisor Handbook and complete the NC Learning Center training entitled Workers’ Compensation Basics for Supervisors.  These resources are designed to provide supervisors with an understanding of their role when an employee is injured.

Supervisors should complete an Injury Data Collection Form when an injury or incident is reported by an employee and send it to agency staff responsible for reporting work-related injuries to the third-party administrator.
