Today, the State of North Carolina launched access to LinkedIn Learning for eligible state employees.
LinkedIn Learning is an award-winning industry leader in online training, with a digital library of over 20,000 courses covering a wide range of technical, business, software, and creative topics.
“State employees work hard each day to serve the people of North Carolina,” said Governor Josh Stein. “That is why I am proud to bring new learning opportunities through LinkedIn Learning to our dedicated state employees to help them get the most out of their career.”
A recent Deloitte survey shows that Generation Z and millennials rank learning and development as one of the top three reasons for choosing an employer. LinkedIn Learning offers a wide range of development and skill-building opportunities to entice new talent and encourage internal growth.
“Expanding our professional development offerings is key to attracting and retaining a highly qualified and committed state workforce,” said North Carolina Office of State Human Resources Director Staci Meyer. “Rolling out technologies like LinkedIn Learning is another milestone in our endeavor to modernize human resources across N.C. state government.”
From leadership and productivity tools to field-specific technical skills, LinkedIn Learning has something for everyone. State employees can create personalized career paths, earn professional certifications, and explore trending training topics. Additionally, eligible state employees can connect their professional profiles to promote their learning accomplishments to their peers.
