High Performance Coaching for Managers (HPCM)

Description

High Performance Coaching for Managers (HCPM) equips managers with the essential coaching skills needed to evaluate employee performance, foster a culture of support and accountability, and drive employee engagement. Blending practical frameworks with hands-on learning, we will focus on preparing leaders to become effective, confident coaches in today’s dynamic workplace.

Participants will explore the core principles of high-impact coaching, including how to build trust and rapport, communicate with clarity and empathy, support employees through change, and hold employees accountable for results. Through guided practice in four targeted skill development sessions, managers will refine their ability to listen actively, ask targeted questions, and provide constructive feedback and facilitate goal-driven conversations.

The HPCM course is a prerequisite for the NC Certified Public Manager© Program.
