Service Awards Program Policy

The Service Awards celebrates North Carolina state employees and recognizes their total service to state government, in increments of five years through retirement. For each five-year increment, the program offers a collection of unique items that eligible recipients may select. The value of the award increases in proportion to tenure. Each agency is responsible for the administration of its program.
