Review of Existing Rules

Review of Title 25 - State Human Resources of the North Carolina Administrative Code - is underway to verify that code provisions concur with OSHR policies.  The attached links are to to existing rules that are under review:

*  On February 21, 2019, the Rules Review Commission approved the adoption and amendments to 25 NCAC 01D .0913 (Salary Rate) and 25 NCAC 01H .0631 (Continuous Posting).  These Rules, as adopted and amended, will be effective March 1, 2019. 

*  Currently, 25 NCAC 01E .0210, .0704 and .0705 (Workers' Compensation) and 25 NCAC )!I .0702, .1902, .1903, .1905, .2003, .2302, .2303, .2304, .2305, .2306, .2307 and .2310 (Services to Local Government) and 25 NCAC 01I .2105 (Other Pay - repealed) are in the rulemaking process.  These rules as they are proposed can be found on the Proposed Rulemaking page of this website.

"Public comment" is defined by G.S. 150B-21.3A(a)(5) as a written objection to all or part of a rule.  Additionally, pursuant to G.S. 150B-21.3A(c)(2), in order for the Rules Review Commission to determine whether the public comment has merit, the public comment must address the specific substance of the rule and address any of the standards of Commission review, as set forth in G.S. 150B-21.9(a).
