Jenn McGinnis, Organizational Effectiveness Manager with OSHR, has been invited to be a panelist at the North Carolina Industrial & Organizational Psychologists Spring semi-annual meeting. It takes place Friday, March 18 from 9:00am - 2:30pm​ at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro. 

The 2015 SECC campaign raised $3,760,000 which boosted the total contributions since its inception to over $102 million! Each state agency and university had its own team of volunteer campaign organizers who raised awareness with state employees of the over 1000 charities that are part of the SECC and facilitated collecting the donations.

Fifteen state employees will be presented with the prestigious ‘Governor’s Awards for Excellence’ on Tuesday, November 16, 2015. It is the highest honor a state employee may receive for dedicated service to the State and the citizens of North Carolina. “These state employees represent the best of North Carolina,” said Governor McCrory. “They serve as role models for their colleagues and an inspiration to their communities. They’ve demonstrated through their actions that when it comes to providing great service, nothing compares to their dedication and passion."

Since its inception, state employees have donated more than $100 million in support of charities serving North Carolinians through the State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC).
