NCFlex Benefits Employee Webinars

NCFlex presents monthly Benefits Webinars to help eligible employees make the most of their plans. Dive deeper into all that each plan offers and gain valuable insight into the benefits you're eligible for with each informative and interactive session. 

Need accommodation during a webinar? If you are deaf or hard of hearing, resources are available to make Worksite Wellness program accessible. Please email ncflex@nc.gov to request accommodation services. To account for scheduling and booking constraints, all requests must be made at least 14 days before an event.

January 2025: First of Year Benefit Reminders

We will discuss benefit reminders for the beginning of the year including how to update beneficiaries anytime, view your paystub for accuracy of premium deductions, use flexible spending accounts, make changes to benefits after a life event, find information for filing claims and 1099s you may receive from prior year benefit payouts.

February 2026: NCFlex Group Term Life and AD&D

We will present on the Voya Group Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) plans offered to eligible state employees with agencies, participating community colleges and participating charter schools. Learn about what Group Term Life and AD&D insurance is and how long it can continue, who can be covered, and the extra benefits included such as bereavement support and funeral planning services, accelerated death benefit, travel assist and waiver of premiums due to disability. 

Please note, university employees are not eligible for the NCFlex Group Term Life or AD&D plans. Please contact your HR department to learn more about the term life and AD&D plans you are eligible for through the university system.
