Remember: Eligible state employees can enroll in and change their NCFlex benefits annually during Open Enrollment in the fall. New hires and newly-eligible employees have 30 days from their hire date or eligibility date to make benefit elections. You can make changes to benefits throughout the year only if you have experienced a qualifying life event.
