The NCFlex Vision Plan is administered by EyeMed. You have three options to choose from, the Core, Basic and Enhanced. The largest difference in the Basic and Enhanced Options are the frequency in which you can get frames, frame allowance and contact lens allowance. 

• Core Wellness is offered at no cost to all NCFlex eligible employee. It covers an annual eye exam for the employee with a $20 copay and includes discounts on materials.
• Basic and Enhanced Plans allow you to cover dependents, include a comprehensive vision care plan and provide a choice of glass lenses or contact lenses per plan year. You may purchase additional lenses at a discount with the plan. 
• Download the EyeMed App to find an eye doctor near you and get directions, plus view your member ID card, save your vision prescription and more.

• The NCFlex Vision Plan can be continued if you leave employment, through COBRA. Learn more on our Continuing Coverage with COBRA page.
