The Office of State Human Resources values our employees and the service our employees provide to the citizens of North Carolina. Our Work-Life program and policies are designed to create a more flexible and responsive work environment supportive of our employees' commitment to the community and to home. We believe a flexible workplace is a productive one. We want you to be the best you can be, both on and off the job. To support this effort, we have a website to keep you informed on the work-life and workplace flexibility programs available to you.

As a part of our commitment to you, your job and your success, North Carolina state agencies have contracted with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), McLaughlin Young Group, to serve as a resource for helping you in times of need. Our state agencies have invested in this contractual agreement to offer you a wide range of support services and work/life options. EAP is offered at no cost to employees and family members and the service is confidential.
